Senior Installer

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Installer to manage and execute premium audio and home automation installation projects across multiple client locations. This role requires a strong technical background in A/V systems, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to deliver white-glove service that reflects our commitment to excellence.

As the Senior Installer, you will lead end-to-end project execution—from planning and logistics to technical installation and customer education—ensuring every project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

 Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and manage installation projects across residential and commercial clients
  • Perform hands-on installation of premium A/V and smart home equipment, including system configuration and testing
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience, delivering professional service and post-installation support
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, logistics, procurement) and external partners (electricians, contractors)
  • Manage and maintain tools, installation vehicles, and related equipment
  • Oversee procurement and inventory of materials and hardware for ongoing projects
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and installers
  • Support showroom display functionality and assist with brand events and technical demos as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues quickly and effectively
  • Maintain compliance with safety, technical, and quality standards
  • Provide feedback and input on improving installation processes and customer service delivery
Candidate Requirements
Experience & Skills:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in premium audio/video installations or home automation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams
  • Solid understanding of A/V wiring, network infrastructure, and smart home integration (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Lutron)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and floor plans
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and ability to represent the brand in high-end environments
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing priorities under pressure
  • Physically capable of lifting, mounting, and wiring equipment as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between job sites
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) and reporting tools
Preferred:
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CEDIA, CTS, Control4 Programmer, Lutron)
  • Experience with high-net-worth residential installations
