A leading global trading company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth in hydrocarbons, polymers, rubbers, and organic synthesis products. This role involves identifying new market opportunities, securing long-term contracts, and optimizing trading operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new trading opportunities in global markets, leveraging the company’s product portfolio.
  • Build and expand a strong trading book by connecting buyers and sellers, developing long-term partnerships.
  • Explore and establish a customer base in emerging regions, enhancing the company’s market presence.
  • Secure long-term contracts and facilitate access to trade finance solutions.
  • Implement risk management strategies, including hedging tools, to optimize profitability and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and financial institutions.
  • Provide market insights and regular reports on trading activities to the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align trading activities with the company’s strategic goals.

Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Chemistry, or related fields; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in trading hydrocarbons, polymers, rubbers, or other chemical products.
  • In-depth knowledge of trade finance instruments and risk management tools (e.g., L/Cs, factoring, hedging).
  • Established network of clients and suppliers in relevant industries.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with a focus on long-term partnerships.
  • Ability to explore and develop new markets and regions independently.
  • Fluency in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
  • High resilience to pressure and a results-driven mindset.
