Regional Director (APAC)

We are partnering with a high-growth trading technology and brokerage solutions provider to appoint a Regional Director for the APAC market. This executive leader will own regional revenue performance, lead a multi-country commercial team, and scale a high-performing go-to-market (GTM) motion. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales and business leader with a proven track record in institutional FX, CFD, crypto, or trading technology markets, capable of building scalable revenue engines, closing high-value multi-product deals, and delivering a world-class client experience.
This is a mission-critical hire with high visibility, strategic influence, and the opportunity to shape APAC’s growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Forecasting
  • Own regional revenue growth and client retention; deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Achieve forecast accuracy within ±10% and ensure strong pipeline visibility.
Territory & GTM Strategy
  • Segment markets by maturity; define ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and partner ecosystems.
  • Build a balanced coverage model, including hunters (AEs), relationship managers (RMs), and strategic partnerships.
Team Leadership
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and performance-manage multi-country commercial teams.
  • Build structured career paths, enablement programs, and a high-performance culture.
Pipeline & Deal Execution
  • Enforce structured qualification (SPICED/MEDDPICC), ensure 3x pipeline coverage, and drive clean stage definitions.
  • Lead complex deal structuring (multi-product packaging, pricing, revenue-share models) in partnership with Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Product.
Customer Experience & Retention
  • Achieve NRR ≥ 120% and GRR ≥ 90% through proactive upsell, cross-sell, and escalation management.
  • Implement QBR/MBR cadences and drive time-to-activation metrics.
Data Discipline & Governance
  • Maintain rigorous Salesforce hygiene, reporting, and dashboards from lead-to-cash.
  • Drive visibility on pipeline, margins, collections/DSO, and bad debt.
Regional Influence
  • Provide strategic input into headcount planning, budget allocation, partnerships, and regional events to accelerate market growth.

Key Requirements
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in institutional FX/CFD/crypto or trading technology sales across APAC.
  • Track record in building and leading multi-country sales and relationship management teams.
  • Proven success closing 6–7 figure multi-product deals with regulated brokers, institutional clients, and strategic partners.
  • Strong understanding of FIX connectivity, hosted/white-label solutions, OMS/EMS, and broker tech stacks.
  • Advanced Salesforce user with forecasting rigor and dashboard management experience.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese or Mandarin (required).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with prime brokers, ISVs (bridges, OMS/EMS), PSPs, and IB/affiliate networks.
  • Background in building enablement programs in collaboration with Product and Marketing.
