Our client, a global leader in R&D, is seeking talented Quantum Computing Researchers to help strengthen their capabilities across sectors such as finance, healthcare, and social infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work on human-centric innovation, with a focus on developing algorithms and applications for quantum computing.

We are looking for two Quantum Computing Researchers at various experience levels – Researcher, Senior Researcher, or Principal Researcher. If you are passionate about quantum computing, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cutting-edge research on quantum computing algorithms and applications.
  • Collaborate with an international team of researchers across multiple locations, including Europe, Japan, India, and the USA, as well as with external academic partners.
  • Contribute to the generation of intellectual property and publish research findings in prestigious academic journals and conferences.
  • This role is based in the UK or Spain, with occasional travel to additional locations as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to demonstrate the following:
  • Experience with quantum computing platforms, simulators, or processors, including programming knowledge to interface with quantum platforms like Qiskit or Amazon Braket.
  • A proven track record of contributing to research projects in quantum computing or a closely related field.
  • Strong publication history with papers accepted in respected journals or conferences.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or R, and familiarity with quantum computing frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Theoretical Physics, Chemistry, or a related field, with a focus on quantum computing.
  • Experience in quantum software development and a strong understanding of broader quantum computing principles.
