Our client, a fast-growing international financial group, is seeking a Head of Representative Office to lead operations, drive market presence, and ensure compliance within the Dutch market. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to manage a representative office, oversee brand development, and collaborate with global headquarters on strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with proven experience in financial services, operations management, and brand development in an international environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Development & Market Presence- Lead efforts to enhance brand visibility and recognition within the Netherlands.
- Oversee participation in marketing and PR campaigns to promote the company’s services.
- Build partnerships with local media and industry platforms to strengthen brand positioning.
- Represent the company at events, conferences, and public forums.
Operations & Compliance- Manage all operational and administrative activities of the representative office.
- Ensure adherence to Dutch laws and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain close relationships with regulatory and governmental bodies.
- Report to senior management on office performance, risks, and compliance updates.
Team Leadership- Recruit, train, and manage the local team to ensure operational excellence.
- Foster collaboration between departments and uphold company standards.
- Drive a results-oriented culture through performance management and motivation.
Analytics & Reporting- Monitor local market trends and prepare analytical reports for headquarters.
- Provide regular updates on operational performance and key metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and business growth.
RequirementsExperience & Background- 5+ years of experience in financial services or related industries (banking, investment, brokerage, etc.).
- Proven track record in operational management or office leadership within an international company.
- Experience handling government relations, regulatory compliance, and brand promotion in the Dutch market.
Education- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
Skills & Competencies- In-depth knowledge of Dutch regulatory frameworks for representative offices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated success in team leadership and stakeholder engagement.
Languages- Fluent Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
