Limassol, Cyprus | Full-time | OfficeOur client, a leading European brokerage firm, is seeking a Cost Efficiency Manager to join their Finance team in Limassol. This strategic role will focus on optimizing operational costs without compromising service quality or regulatory compliance, contributing directly to the firm's profitability and scalability in the European financial market.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze organizational spending trends to identify and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and lead the implementation of comprehensive cost optimization strategies aligned with business goals
- Build financial models to assess and forecast the impact of cost-efficiency initiatives
- Monitor operational KPIs, particularly around platform costs, transaction expenses, and vendor contracts
- Benchmark internal cost structures against leading European brokerage and fintech standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with trading, IT, compliance, and operations teams to set realistic budgets
- Lead negotiations with vendors (technology providers, market data suppliers) to improve pricing and service terms
- Deliver performance reports and presentations to executive leadership on efficiency initiatives and outcomes
- Stay current with fintech innovations and regulatory trends that may influence cost structures
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's or ACCA certification is a strong plus)
- At least 5 years of experience in cost management or financial analysis, preferably within brokerage or investment firms
- Demonstrated success in identifying and executing cost-reduction strategies in regulated financial environments
- Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills; expert-level proficiency in Excel
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with financial services systems and European regulatory frameworks
