About the Role
We are representing a leading organization seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role will involve driving business requirements for IT software and application development projects across various functional areas, ensuring the successful delivery of impactful technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gathering business requirements, process mapping, and supporting testing and implementation. Prior experience in retail or consumer-focused industries is highly desirable, as the role involves working on cutting-edge solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, Stores, HR, and Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and document business requirements for IT software/application development projects.
  • Create and manage business process maps for software-supported processes.
  • Provide input and support during testing phases of software development.
  • Collaborate with user teams and IT support teams during post go-live hypercare.
  • Act as the key point of contact between technical and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment.
  • Support and guide teams on software functionality and process improvements.

Functional Areas & Tools
The candidate will work across several functional domains, with exposure to a range of tools and platforms:
  • Finance Systems:
  • ERP systems, particularly Microsoft AX or Microsoft 365.
  • Tulip, SAP Concur, and E-invoicing solutions using EDI.
  • SAF-T tax reporting systems.
  • Future roadmap includes Coupa and AICO.
Supply Chain Solutions:
  • Blue Yonder WMS (Warehouse Management System) – critical experience required.
  • E-llis TMS (Transportation Management System).
  • Future roadmap includes Warehouse Labour Management Systems (WLM).
Store Operations:
  • Experience with till systems, including Oracle Xstore and TP.NET (supported by Diebold Nixdorf).
  • Store stock management tools like Mnetics IM2 and TP.NET.
HR Systems:
  • SAP Success Factors and UKG (formerly Kronos) for Time & Attendance.
BI Reporting & Data Analysis:
  • Proficient in Power BI, working with data from Data Warehouses.
  • Ability to provide insights for projects across domains with BI reporting elements.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in business requirements definition for IT software/application development.
  • Expertise in business process mapping for software-supported processes.
  • Strong background in supporting testing and post go-live hypercare phases.
  • Knowledge of relevant retail industry solutions or other mass consumer industries.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the listed tools and systems in Finance, Supply Chain, Stores, HR, and BI Reporting domains is a significant advantage.
