Key ResponsibilitiesAs the
Advertising Operations Manager, you will:
- Oversee ad inventory across desktop and mobile environments, ensuring optimal utilization, accurate forecasting, and consistent performance across platforms.
- Analyze ad performance data and trends, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to enhance metrics like CTR, eCPM, fill rates, and revenue.
- Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot ad tags to ensure proper delivery, accurate tracking, and minimal downtime.
- Manage ad inventory within Google Ad Manager (GAM) to optimize utilization and maximize revenue.
- Lead programmatic strategies, including Prebid, Open Bidding, and TAM integrations, to boost monetization.
- Evaluate and onboard new ad providers while identifying growth opportunities and nurturing relationships with partners.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy laws, and advertising policies.
- Stay ahead of emerging ad tech trends, recommend innovative solutions, and explore new monetization opportunities.
Candidate RequirementsWe are seeking a highly skilled candidate with the following qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:- At least 2+ years of experience in digital advertising operations, with a strong focus on Google Ad Manager (GAM).
- Proven expertise in programmatic advertising, including Open Bidding (Google AdX) and Header Bidding integrations (Prebid).
- Hands-on experience with TAM (Transparent Ad Marketplace) and onboarding new demand partners.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting ad-related technical issues, including display and video ad serving.
- Solid understanding of industry standards such as VAST, VPAID, and familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and debugging tools.
- Advanced knowledge of ad tech ecosystems, yield optimization strategies, and revenue-driving technologies.
- Proven track record in optimizing key metrics like CTR, CPM, fill rate, and overall revenue performance.
- Familiarity with audience segmentation and monetization strategies across diverse geographies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level.
Nice-to-Have Skills:- Proficiency in Yandex and AdFox ecosystems.
- Native-level Russian speakers are highly preferred but not mandatory.
Technical Proficiency:- Required: Google Ad Manager (GAM), Prebid.js, TAM (Amazon), Open Bidding, video integrations, HTML/CSS, data analysis, experience with EU and US markets, and A/B testing.
- Preferred: Yandex and AdFox.
