Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
- Prepare working files, review supporting documentation, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of data provided to auditors and the holding consolidation team.
- Support and coordinate external and internal audits, provide requested information, and communicate with auditors.
- Identify internal control risks, contribute to the design of controls, and review documentation of control procedures.
- Provide analytical and operational support to Accounting, Treasury, and Budgeting teams as needed.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial and analytical reports for different business units and management.
- Work with large data sets, structure information clearly, and perform data validation.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal templates, methodologies, and automation of routine financial processes.
- Proactively identify issues, propose improvements, and assist in enhancing efficiency across
- finance-related processes.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in audit or accounting (experience in the financial sector is a plus).
- Experience in Big 4 or other international audit firms is a plus.
- Basic understanding of internal controls and documentation requirements.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP principles and solid experience with financial statement and disclosure preparation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query).
- Experience working with 1C or other accounting systems.
- Basic understanding of SQL or willingness to develop skills in automation and data processing.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and ownership of assigned tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret financial data.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and support different departments.
- Proactive, organized, and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong team player.
- Fluency in Russian and English is required; other languages are a plus.
