A fast-growing product company is building a consumer-facing VR video streaming platform with a strong focus on immersive viewing experiences. Our goal is to evolve video consumption from “watching” into interactive, spatial experiences - combining VR UX patterns with modern mobile/web product design.
The platform covers multiple content formats, including mainstream and 18+ sections, and explores new ways of consuming video in immersive environments - from classic streaming to experimental short-form experiences adapted for VR.
This is a true product environment (not an agency setup). Your work will directly impact real users and a fast-moving roadmap.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who is highly hands-on and ready to take ownership across VR, mobile, and web. This role is a senior-level entry point with a clear path to Design Lead, once the person is fully onboarded and confidently driving outcomes.
This role is focused on product design for VR, web, and mobile (not branding or marketing visuals).
/ Key responsibilities and objectives:
• Redesigning the VR video player experience (navigation, controls, usability, interaction patterns)
• Adapting short-form video experiences into VR (think “TikTok-like flow”, but in spatial environments)
• Improving core UX across web and mobile apps
• Redesigning UI elements such as player icons, controls, and key product screens
• Contributing to and scaling the design system (components, states, consistency across platforms)
• Use research, usage data, and qualitative insights to understand user behaviour and inform design decisions
• Build interactive prototypes (especially for new VR interaction patterns) to test ideas and align with Engineering
• Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to validate solutions and ship improvements fast
• Keep an eye on emerging VR/spatial UI patterns and apply relevant best practices to the product
/ Requirements:
• 4+ years of product design experience, ideally in in-house product teams
• Strong portfolio with shipped work in consumer products and complex UI flows (e.g., content platforms, streaming, subscriptions, social/video, gaming, fitness)
• Confident Figma user (UI design, prototyping, component libraries)
• Hands-on experience building or maintaining scalable design systems across platforms
• Experience designing for multiple surfaces (VR and/or web and/or mobile) and the ability to adapt patterns between them
• Strong collaboration with engineers (handoff, constraints, iteration) and comfort working in short feedback loops
• Ability to translate product goals and user needs into clear solutions, and explain your reasoning to stakeholders
• Exposure to VR/XR or spatial UI principles
• Adobe tools and/or motion / 3D / animation workflows
• Leadership/mentoring experience (ideally 3+ designers)
• Comfortable working in an environment with ambiguity and fast iteration
• Comfortable working with products that include age-restricted (18+) sections
• English С1 (spoken) and Russian fluency
/ We offer:
• A long-term B2B engagement with flexible working hours.
• A hands-on role with real ownership: your design decisions ship fast and directly affect a large, active user base.
• Work on a product at the intersection of VR, interactive media, and next-gen content consumption — a space that’s evolving rapidly and still has few established patterns.
• Clear growth track into Design Lead once you ramp up and start driving outcomes independently.
• Remote-first setup with collaboration aligned to European working hours and flexible scheduling.
• A culture built around craft, accountability, and collaboration — ideas are discussed openly and decisions are made quickly.
• Close collaboration with Product and Engineering, with short feedback loops and the ability to test and iterate without heavy bureaucracy.
• Tools and equipment support from day one (everything you need to work effectively).
• The opportunity to shape how immersive UX is done in practice — not just “design screens”, but influence interaction patterns and product direction.
