QA Engineer

Our hiring partner is a publicly listed global leader in value-added distribution and OEM solutions, operating across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. They specialize in delivering IT, AI, IoT, and electronics products to both B2B and B2C markets. To support their continued innovation, they are looking to hire a QA Engineer to join their R&D and Product Integration team.

About the Role
This is a hands-on role focused on testing and quality assurance for the company’s proprietary hardware and software products. You will be responsible for testing device integration, documenting results, and working closely with development and support teams to ensure product stability and usability prior to market release.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive functional and non-functional testing for both hardware and software
  • Create and maintain test documentation including test cases, checklists, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify, report, and re-test bugs
  • Perform in-depth analysis and investigation of defects
  • Develop test strategies for new and existing devices
  • Write technical instructions and setup guidelines for internal and external users
  • Support the implementation and post-launch validation of products and services
  • Utilize tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrometers to ensure hardware performance meets specification

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in QA or hardware/software testing roles
  • Proven experience in developing and managing test documentation
  • Background in functional and exploratory testing
  • Experience working with UNIX-like OS (Ubuntu preferred)
  • Familiarity with Jira or other bug tracking/project management systems
  • Practical knowledge of measuring equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes)
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Desirable
  • Experience testing IoT or embedded systems
  • Exposure to hardware flashing, firmware upgrades, or low-level diagnostics
  • Background working in large-scale international product companies
