Our partner is a global consulting firm that partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges. Right now we’re partnering on a high-impact international project in the financial sector.
We are building the foundations for a national-level Open Banking framework — covering regulatory design, market model, governance, and an implementation roadmap. The workstream focuses on designing how banks and third-party providers (TPPs) will participate, how consent and data-sharing will be governed, and how the ecosystem can be launched through pilots and scaled sustainably.
Responsibilities:
• Identify, Drive the design of the national Open Banking framework, including its regulatory, market, and governance models.
• Conduct comprehensive regulatory and legal gap analysis to define actionable requirements for the framework.
• Develop the market operating model, covering participant onboarding, compliance monitoring, and dispute resolution processes.
• Define high-level standards and rules of participation for all ecosystem members, including API principles and security baselines.
• Design and structure a pilot program by identifying and prioritizing key use cases, setting success metrics, and defining its scope.
• Lead and facilitate high-stakes workshops to manage alignment with senior stakeholders, including regulators, banks, and fintech leaders.
• Produce and present high-quality, consulting-grade deliverables such as decision papers, strategic roadmaps, and steering committee presentations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in strategy consulting (Big3/Big4/Tier-2) or an equivalent role within a regulator, bank, or fintech.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and manage complex relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives and government officials.
• Strong background in the consulting, banking, fintech, or regulatory sectors.
• Experience with large-scale digital finance initiatives involving multi-stakeholder governance.
• Familiarity with regulatory gap analysis, API economy principles, and digital identity frameworks (e.g., OAuth, OIDC) is advantageous.
