Our client, a leading international luxury audio and lifestyle brand, is seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee the North & West Africa region. This role will focus on expanding the brand’s premium presence through strategic partnerships, channel development, and new business acquisition across key markets.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of luxury consumer markets, strong B2B relationship management skills, and experience in premium retail, AV integration, or smart living solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for the region to drive sustainable sales growth.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage premium distribution partners in key markets.
  • Build relationships with developers, architects, interior designers, and smart home integrators to increase brand visibility in high-end projects.
  • Collaborate with third-party technology partners (e.g., Lutron, KNX, control systems) to generate project-based opportunities.
  • Support retail stores in executing client engagement and retention strategies to increase customer lifetime value.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage lead generation, client segmentation, and targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor partner performance, ensuring brand standards, customer experience, and visual presentation are consistently upheld.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance analysis, and market insights to leadership.
  • Represent the brand at regional events, exhibitions, and networking forums to strengthen market presence.
  • Drive the achievement of revenue and gross profit targets within the assigned region.

  • Growth in new business and market share within the region.
  • Number and quality of new sales leads and partnerships.
  • Revenue and profit growth versus targets.
  • Partner satisfaction and engagement levels.
  • Sales pipeline development and conversion rates.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management—preferably within luxury consumer goods, smart home, or premium technology solutions.
  • Proven track record of establishing strategic B2B partnerships and driving commercial growth.
  • Experience working with high-end brands or in design-driven industries (architecture, interior design, luxury retail, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of distribution models and retail operations within the premium sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to tailor strategies to local market conditions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Passion for design, innovation, and luxury lifestyle experiences.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently across multiple markets.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for client visits, market development, and events.
