About the Role:We are currently seeking a AVP, Market Risk Analytics Manager – FICCS to join the Risk and Credit Group in the Chicago office. This position will be responsible for overseeing market risk analytics for multi-asset classes, with a specific focus on futures, options on futures, FX, power products, and fixed income. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in risk monitoring and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor client trading activity across asset classes and produce risk monitoring reports.
- Design SQL queries and manage relational databases to automate and support reporting tasks.
- Lead a team issuing intraday and overnight calls and managing client risk limit breaches.
- Calibrate risk systems for daily monitoring and produce management reporting packages.
- Oversee and manage stress testing and 1.73 liquidation reports.
- Analyze client P&L and stress tests to identify risk exposures and propose mitigating strategies.
- Serve as backup for daily approvals of outgoing wires and ACHs.
- Manage and compile reports for various exchange default management systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve internal processes, reporting accuracy, and data transparency.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in futures, FX, and fixed income markets.
- Strong understanding of Power and Energy Futures products, with knowledge of exchange requirements and tools (e.g., CME, ICE, Nodal).
- Proficient in option strategies, margin calculations, and credit limit settings.
- Experience with risk policy development and control frameworks.
- Technical expertise in SQL and Tableau required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and develop team members.
