Description
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and analytical Algorithmic Trader to join a proprietary trading team in Dubai. No prior financial industry experience is required, as comprehensive training in algorithmic, quantitative, and high-frequency trading is provided. You will contribute to the development and optimization of trading strategies, analyze market behavior, manage trading operations, and work closely with software engineers on trading-related tools and systems.
- Trade a wide range of financial instruments
- Develop, maintain, and optimize trading strategies and algorithms
- Monitor and manage trading portfolios and associated risks
- Operate and oversee trading desks
- Analyze market behavior and identify new trading opportunities
- Collaborate with software engineers on trading-related projects and tools
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of trading systems and processes
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related STEM field
- 1–3 years of coding experience in any programming language
- At least 1 year of professional or commercial software development experience
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong mental arithmetic skills
- Genuine interest in quantitative, algorithmic, and high-frequency trading
- Fluent English
- Comprehensive training in quantitative, algorithmic, and high-frequency trading
