Senior Business Analyst
Limassol, Cyprus | Hybrid | Full-time
Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join an international fintech company and work on an investment product that allows clients to invest in instruments such as stocks and ETFs.
In this role, you will be responsible for business and system analysis throughout the full feature lifecycle, working with both client-facing products and internal administration and back-office tools. You will analyse and map processes across the trading stack, including accounts, instruments, liquidity and execution, custody, settlement, and reconciliation.
You will collaborate closely with Product, Dealing, Operations, Platform Administration, Engineering, and QA teams to identify dependencies, define requirements, and support solution design through to implementation.

- Own Business and System Analysis throughout the full feature lifecycle, from discovery to delivery
- Analyze and map processes across the trading stack, including accounts, instruments, liquidity and execution, custody, settlement, and reconciliation
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements
- Ensure requirements are aligned with business objectives and technical constraints
- Work with both client-facing products and internal administration and back-office tools
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable documentation, including User Stories, Use Cases, UML, BPMN, and Sequence Diagrams
- Partner closely with the Product Manager and Engineering team to support the product roadmap
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across Product, Dealing, Operations, Development, and QA teams throughout the task lifecycle
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or System Analyst
- Experience working with backend and platform systems and administrative tools
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
- Ability to quickly onboard into new domains and adapt to changing environments
- Proficiency in creating UML and BPMN diagrams
- Experience writing and refining User Stories, Use Cases, and Sequence Diagrams
- Experience in fintech or investment and trading products would be an advantage
- Familiarity with REST API, gRPC, FIX Protocol, and message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Solace would be a plus
- Experience working with client-facing trading platforms, internal administration tools, or operational back-office systems would be an advantage
- SQL and data analysis skills would be a plus
- Experience with CI/CD processes would be an advantage
- Proficient English, both written and spoken
- Russian language skills would be an advantage
- Hybrid work format in Limassol, Cyprus
