QA Engineer

Description
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join an international technology company developing IT, IoT, and robotic products and solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing and quality assurance of integrated hardware and robotic systems.
You will work across mechanics, electronics, firmware, and software to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of devices.

- Participate in and support the implementation of products and services
- Perform end-to-end testing of robotic stations, including mechanics, electronics, firmware, and software integration
- Investigate and analyse identified issues
- Create and maintain test documentation
- Test motion control, positioning accuracy, and repeatability of robotic mechanisms
- Test sensors and actuators, including servo and stepper motors, encoders, limit switches, and proximity or optical sensors
- Verify communication interfaces and protocols, including CAN, RS-485, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and MQTT
- Test emergency stop functionality, fail-safe behaviour, and safety interlocks
- Verify and validate calibration procedures
- Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and bug resolution time
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Strong experience writing test documentation and analysing development documentation
- Experience testing robotics, mechatronics, industrial automation equipment, or other hardware products
- Understanding of robotic system components, including drives, controllers, PLCs, sensors, and basic kinematics
- Experience creating and managing test plans, test cases, checklists, and test coverage analysis
- Experience with functional and non-functional testing
- Experience with hardware testing and developing test stands
- Confident user of UNIX-like operating systems, preferably Ubuntu
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira
- Experience working with measuring instruments, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- English sufficient for working in an international environment
- On-site work in Limassol, Cyprus
