Senior Power BI Developer

We are on the lookout for an experienced Power BI Developers for our hiring partner – a growing fin-tech company to work on the new services.
The project focuses on building and maintaining a financial platform for The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).

  • Requirements
  • Proven experience in Power BI development, including dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management (SQL Server, Azure SQL, etc.).
  • Experience integrating Power BI with diverse data sources (SQL, cloud services, APIs).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into insights.
  • Experience optimizing Power BI reports for performance.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and role-based access control in Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of other BI tools or data technologies (e.g., Azure, SSRS, Power Automate) is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data visualization and analytics.
  • Create and optimize DAX queries to improve report performance.
  • Develop and manage Power BI datasets, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to integrate Power BI with various data sources.
  • Conduct ad hoc data analysis and visualization, providing actionable insights.
  • Mentor junior team members in Power BI best practices.
  • Stay updated on Power BI features and updates, implementing them to enhance reporting.
