We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our hiring partner organization - a football club. As a key member of the management team, you will take charge of the club’s accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic financial insights. Your role will be crucial in supporting the club's growth and financial stability, ensuring the successful management of financial activities across multiple entities.

Requirements
  • Key Competencies:
  • Professional Expertise: Possess certifications such as CMA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA, with in-depth knowledge of IFRS, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Proficiency in developing and managing short-term and long-term financial projections.
  • Risk Management: Skilled in identifying and managing financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
  • ERP & Financial Systems: Experience in using ERP and other financial software to streamline processes and provide real-time financial data.
  • Operational Analysis: Ability to analyze performance, cost structures, and profitability to enhance business efficiency.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative mindset, fostering a culture of financial discipline and accountability across teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and present clear, actionable insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the sports or entertainment industries is a plus, but not essential.
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or FP&A, ideally in sports, entertainment, or a similarly dynamic sector.
  • Experience in any of the Big 4 accounting firms is advantageous.
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Russian is required; knowledge of Latvian is an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Management Reporting: Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and insightful management reports to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Identify financial trends and provide actionable insights to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • Strategic Financial Support: Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior management, providing strategic insights to shape business decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously optimize financial processes, implementing automation and improving reporting systems.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, ensuring the club's financial stability even during external challenges.
  • Cash Flow & Financial Management: Oversee cash flow, receivables, payables, and inventory control to maintain operational efficiency and liquidity.
